As a User Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for driving new user growth through the development and execution of performance-based marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the marketing, product, and analytics teams to identify and target key user segments, optimize conversion funnels, and track the effectiveness of acquisition channels. The ideal candidate is results-driven, with a deep understanding of digital marketing, data analysis, and user behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Develop, implement, and optimize user acquisition campaigns across various digital marketing channels including paid search (Google Ads, Bing), paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), display ads, and affiliate marketing.
- Define and execute creative strategies to maximize engagement, conversion, and retention for each channel.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to improve campaign performance and maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Target Audience & Market Research:
- Identify and analyze key audience segments to develop targeted marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover new opportunities for user acquisition.
- Work with product and data teams to define user personas and refine targeting strategies.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per acquisition (CPA), lifetime value (LTV), conversion rate, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Analyze campaign performance and user behavior data, adjusting strategies accordingly to optimize acquisition efforts.
- Create regular performance reports for stakeholders, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
- Collaborate with the design and product teams to optimize landing pages and user funnels to increase conversion rates.
- Identify bottlenecks and friction points in the acquisition process and recommend solutions to improve conversion rates.
- Budget Management:
- Manage user acquisition budgets efficiently, ensuring that spending aligns with business goals and delivers measurable results.
- Forecast and allocate budgets for different campaigns, adjusting spending based on performance.
- Collaboration & Cross-functional Work:
- Work closely with the product team to understand user flows, product features, and improvements to refine acquisition strategies.
- Coordinate with the content and creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives and copy that resonate with target audiences.
- Partner with the analytics team to measure campaign effectiveness, derive insights, and refine future strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in user acquisition, digital marketing, or growth marketing.
- Proven track record of driving user growth through performance marketing campaigns.
- Experience working with digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or other paid media platforms.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.) and tracking platforms.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and optimization tools (Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO, etc.).
- Understanding of customer segmentation and targeting techniques.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM tools.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and optimize marketing campaigns and user acquisition channels.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights for optimization.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- A data-driven mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SEO, SEM, and organic growth strategies.
- Familiarity with mobile app user acquisition strategies (if applicable).
- Knowledge of tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO/SEM platforms.
- Experience with retargeting and remarketing strategies.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
